Wake Prep Academy won the last time they faced Raleigh Charter and things went their way on Monday too. The Wake Prep Academy Guardians walked away with a 56-46 victory over the Raleigh Charter Phoenix. Given the Guardians' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 241st in North Carolina, while the Phoenix are ranked 609th in North Carolina), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wake Prep Academy found their leader in sophomore Shawn Amadike, who posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Josh Bracey, who earned ten points.

Wake Prep Academy's record is now 22-3. As for Raleigh Charter, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-14.

Wake Prep Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-60 defeat against NCSSM: Durham on the 18th. Raleigh Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
