Softball Recap: Southeast Alamance Stallions vs. South Lenoir Blue Devils
Southeast Alamance and South Lenoir squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Southeast Alamance had to settle for second. They lost 13-6 to the Blue Devils. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Stallions have suffered since April 16, 2024.

Tatum Shelton was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and 11 unearned) runs off 13 hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Katie Lloyd was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Reich, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
