Basketball Game Preview: Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs vs. Bishop Ready Silver Knights

The Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs will challenge the Bishop Ready Silver Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Saturday, Bloom-Carroll strolled past Logan Elm with points to spare, taking the game 60-45.

Meanwhile, Bishop Ready put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 70-41 blowout they got against Shawnee. Given the Silver Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Braves are ranked 342nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bishop Ready pushed their record up to 11-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Bloom-Carroll, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Bloom-Carroll was taken down by Bishop Ready 69-37 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Bloom-Carroll avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
