After losing to Muchin College Prep the last time they met, UIC College Prep decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Firecats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mountain Lions on Wednesday, sneaking past 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Firecats.

UIC College Prep had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-17, 26-24.

UIC College Prep now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Muchin College Prep, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-7.

UIC College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Muchin College Prep, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Victoria Soto at 5:00 p.m. on the 20th.
