Soccer Recap: Fasman Yeshiva Takes a Loss

Fasman Yeshiva was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Cristo Rey Jesuit Cristeros. While losing is never fun, Fasman Yeshiva can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 465th, while Cristo Rey Jesuit is ranked 159th).

Fasman Yeshiva's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Cristo Rey Jesuit, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6-1 record this season.

Fasman Yeshiva will face off against MCC at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. MCC's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Cristo Rey Jesuit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
