Basketball Recap: Neumann Regional Academy Takes a Loss

Neumann Regional Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the North Penn-Mansfield Tigers 71-30. The Golden Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-19.

Several Golden Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Andrew Walter, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Daiton Thompson, who earned eight points.

Jason Harer was a one-man wrecking crew for North Penn-Mansfield as he dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten boards. Those 19 points gave Harer a new career-high. Alex Davis was another key player, going 5 of 10 to rack up 11 points and five assists.

Neumann Regional Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for North Penn-Mansfield, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-3.

Coming up, Neumann Regional Academy will face off against Jersey Shore at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. North Penn-Mansfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
