Hurricane gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pine View Panthers. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won seven in a row.

While Hurricane won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12, 28-26.

Pine View's defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.
