Volleyball Recap: Johns Creek Triumphs

The Johns Creek Gladiators earned a 2-0 win over the Heritage Generals on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gladiators.

Among those leading the charge was Charlize Maldonado, who had eight digs and two aces. Those two aces gave her a new career-high. Sara Buoni also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Johns Creek now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Heritage, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Johns Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against North Gwinnett on the 23rd. Heritage has also already played their next contest (against Dawson County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
