Basketball Recap: Minico's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Minico had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They skirted past the Bishop Kelly Knights 45-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Spartans have posted since February 15th.

Minico's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Bishop Kelly, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Minico will take on Canyon Ridge in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bishop Kelly, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
