Soccer Game Preview: Kent City vs. Lakeview

Kent City hasn't had much luck against Lakeview recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Kent City has given up an average of 6.5 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Kent City fell victim to Kenowa Hills and their airtight defense on Saturday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, Lakeview kept a clean sheet against Ithaca on Friday. They blew past the Yellowjackets 8-0. Lakeview might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Lakeview pushed their record up to 12-1-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those six contests. As for Kent City, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1.
