Basketball Recap: Lehigh Valley Academy Drops Season-High Score on Upper Bucks Christian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lehigh Valley Academy). They were the clear victor by a 51-31 margin over Upper Bucks Christian on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Jaguars have posted since February 14, 2024.

Lehigh Valley Academy found their leader in sophomore Anders Heiney, who posted 22 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Heiney has scored at least a third of Lehigh Valley Academy's points. Anthony Azcuidiaz was another key player, putting up seven points.

Lehigh Valley Academy's win ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14. As for Upper Bucks Christian, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Lehigh Valley Academy Jaguars challenge the Panther Valley Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Upper Bucks Christian, they will challenge Jenkintown at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
