The Bear River Bears suffered their biggest defeat since December 5, 2023 on Thursday. Their tough 47-25 loss to Sky View might stick with them for a while. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Bear River has suffered against Sky View since January 14, 2021.
Bear River lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Shelby Wilkinson, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Angelie Delgado, who scored six points along with two steals.
Bear River bumped their record down to 5-9 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Sky View, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
Bear River will head out on the road to take on Ridgeline at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ridgeline knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matches -- so hopefully Bear River likes a good challenge. As for Sky View, they will be playing at home against Logan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Logan has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 30.
