            Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask D.H. Conley). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs  a   21-0 shutout  on Thursday. The  win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Monarchs: they've now won eight in a row.

 Kendall Howard made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 19 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Ava Gaddis and  Timiya Pittman did most of the damage at the plate:  Gaddis  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with three  runs and two  RBI, while  Pittman  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  two  RBI gave  Pittman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Taylor Ulrich, who  went 1-for-2 with three  RBI.
 D.H. Conley  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .862. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
D.H. Conley's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Northside - Jacksonville, they dropped their record down to 0-20 with the  defeat, which was their 19th straight  on the road dating back to last season.
