Soccer Game Preview: Apex Friendship vs. Green Level + How To Watch

The Apex Friendship Patriots will head out on the road to challenge the Green Level Gators at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Apex Friendship will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Apex Friendship earned a 3-1 win over Apex. Given Apex Friendship's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while Apex are ranked 167th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Green Level was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Willow Spring. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Green Level couldn't quite close it out.

Apex Friendship's victory bumped their record up to 13-3-4. As for Green Level, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5-2.

Everything went Apex Friendship's way against Green Level when the teams last played back in September, as Apex Friendship made off with a 5-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
