Basketball Recap: Andre Crossland's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Madonna over Cameron

Madonna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They fell 63-54 to the Cameron Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-54 back in February.

Madonna's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andre Crossland, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave Crossland a new career-high in blocks (three). Another player making a difference was Koleton Grishkevich, who posted 23 points and five steals.

Madonna's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Cameron, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-12.

Madonna didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 85-73 win against Trinity Christian on the 4th. As for Cameron, they have also already played their next game, a 77-66 victory against Hundred on the 4th.
