Basketball Recap: Harvard Comes Up Short

If Harvard was feeling good fresh off their 53-30 takedown of South Beloit last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Harvard Hornets fell 44-31 to the North Boone Vikings on Monday. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Harvard's loss dropped their record down to 15-14. As for North Boone, their win bumped their record up to 9-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harvard will challenge Johnsburg at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Boone, they will face off against Winnebago at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
