Football Recap: Northmor Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Northmor had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They never let the Upper Sandusky Rams get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Golden Knights in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won three in a row.

Northmor's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Conner Stockdale, who picked up 82 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northmor will host Seneca East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Upper Sandusky, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
