For the second straight game, Triton will face off against North Miami. The Trojans will venture away from home to take on the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Triton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4 runs per game this season.

Triton fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against North Miami on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 10-9.

Drew Bingamon was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

In other batting news, Max Johnson was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with one run. Blake Ousley also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

The win (which was North Miami's third in a row) raised their record to 9-2. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for Triton, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Triton has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like North Miami struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
