Basketball Recap: Orcutt Academy Skates Past Kings Christian with Ease

Orcutt Academy won the last time they faced Kings Christian and things went their way on Saturday too. The Spartans really took it to the Crusaders for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-32 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-14.

Orcutt Academy's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points over those games. As for Kings Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Orcutt Academy will head out to challenge Valley Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kings Christian, they will host Summit Charter Collegiate Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bears have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
