Basketball Recap: Ridgeland Panthers vs. Heritage Generals
Ridgeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 76-49 defeat at the hands of the Heritage Generals. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 448th, while the Generals are ranked 193rd).
Despite the loss, Ridgeland saw an underclassman step up: freshman TJ Foster dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 44.9% of Ridgeland's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Lambert, who put up ten points and five rebounds.
