Softball Recap: Ramsay Comes Up Short

Ramsay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-7 to the Minor Tigers. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 17-8 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kennedi Nichols-Ford was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Danielle Austin, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Ramsay's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Minor, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Ramsay will face off against Minor at 5:30 p.m. on February 27th. As for Minor, they will take on Pleasant Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Minor is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.
