Softball Recap: Hooper Academy Takes a Loss

If Hooper Academy was feeling good fresh off their 9-2 takedown of Fort Dale Academy on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hooper Academy Colts took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ezekiel Academy Knights on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 last Thursday.

Hooper Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Ezekiel Academy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

Hooper Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fort Dale Academy at 5:30 p.m. on March 31st. As for Ezekiel Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tuscaloosa Home Educators at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
