Football Recap: Cheraw Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cheraw extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They were outmatched by the Granada Bobcats and fell 61-24. The Wolverines lost against the Bobcats in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 44-30 score last time.

As for Granada, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 56.0 points this season.

Granada found their leader in sophomore Sebastian Pizarro, who rushed for 130 yards and four TDs on only 12 carries, and also picked up 66 receiving yards and one touchdown. Pizarro's longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Fernando Cadena helped out on the ground, rushing for 108 yards and a rushing touchdown.
