Glenbard East has gone a perfect 10-0 against Elgin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Rams will host the Maroons at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Glenbard East has three straight victories, Elgin has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Glenbard East barely beat Larkin the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rams blew past the Royals 11-3 on Wednesday. Considering the Rams have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Elgin didn't have quite enough to beat Bartlett on Tuesday and fell 4-3.

Elgin saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Gasca, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Glenbard East's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-8. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Elgin, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16-1.

Everything went Glenbard East's way against Elgin when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Glenbard East made off with a 10-4 win. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Maroons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
