Football Recap: Corinth Holders Pirates vs. Sanderson Spartans
Corinth Holders took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They really took it to the Sanderson Spartans for the full four quarters, racking up a 35-3 win at home. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Pirates as it put an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Zeon Ware had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 119 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. Jaylon Holder also helped with two touchdowns in total.
Corinth Holders will welcome Broughton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sanderson, they will head out to take on Riverside-Durham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
