Softball Game Preview: Leeton Bulldogs vs. Green Ridge Tigers

The Leeton Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Green Ridge Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leeton is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

Leeton's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Midway as they made off with a 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Butler hit Green Ridge with a six-run seventh inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers fell just short of the Bears by a score of 7-6.

Kayden Box was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Leeton's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Green Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
