If Whitmore Lake was feeling good fresh off their 66-17 takedown of FJA on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans came up short against the Pinckney Pirates on Friday, falling 60-35. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 52-35 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Whitmore Lake lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jayden Canter, who posted 11 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was James Burns, who had eight points and five boards.
