Cedar won the last time they faced Crimson Cliffs and things went their way on Friday too. The Reds came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 5-2. The victory was nothing new for the Reds as they're now sitting on four straight.
Sadie Parson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Cedar let Shaylee Johnson and Kate Lopez run wild. Johnson scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Lopez scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most stolen bases Lopez has posted since back in March.
Cedar pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
