Soccer Recap: River Ridge Takes a Loss

River Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Thurston Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against North Thurston this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 1st.

River Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9-3. As for North Thurston, they pushed their record up to 8-2-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

River Ridge will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gig Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on May 1. As for North Thurston, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Lakes at 7:00 p.m.
