Softball Recap: Mendenhall Tigers vs. Yazoo County Panthers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Puckett, Mendenhall was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Yazoo County Panthers, sneaking past 8-6. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 7-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Ellie Boles was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.
