After losing to East Stroudsburg North the last time they met, Pocono Mountain East decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cardinals blew past the Timberwolves, posting a 56-20 win. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won five contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

A big part of Pocono Mountain East's victory came down to the chemistry between Ceejay Serfass and his top target Justin Williams. Serfass threw for 199 yards and three TDs while completing 81.8% of his passes while Williams picked up 126 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Williams has become a key player for Pocono Mountain East: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 80 receiving yards, but 2-3 otherwise. Connor Triano was in the mix as well, providing the Cardinals with two scores.

When it comes to explaining why East Stroudsburg North lost on Friday, don't look at Wayne King. Despite the final result, he rushed for 95 yards and a pair of touchdowns. King didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble and made nine total tackles (1.0 for loss).

The win (which was Pocono Mountain East's third in a row) raised their record to 6-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.0 points over those games. As for East Stroudsburg North, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
