Football Recap: Wolfson Takes a Loss

Wolfson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the West Nassau Warriors, falling 25-0.

West Nassau's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Payton Jefferson, who rushed for 43 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 108 yards and one touchdown. Danyelle Bell was Jefferson's top target, picking up 84 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Wolfson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for West Nassau, the win (which was their fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wolfson will host Atlantic Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Nassau, they will be playing at home against Fernandina Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup will give Fernandina Beach their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
