Volleyball Recap: Central Hardin Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Rylie Conley and Katelynn Camenzind

Central Hardin was the 3-0 winner over Oldham County when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bruins fell just short of the Colonels by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Katelynn Camenzind and Rylie Conley certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Camenzind had 24 digs and two assists, while Conley had 18 digs and five assists. With that strong performance, Camenzind is now averaging an impressive 10.7 digs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Sego, who had ten digs.

Among those leading the charge was Alex William, who had nine digs and one assist. Madeleine Vogt also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Central Hardin's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Oldham County, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Coincidentally, Central Hardin and Oldham County will both be playing South Warren the next time they take the court. The Colonels will host the Spartans at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Bruins will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
