Bossier barely beat Ringgold the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bossier Bearkats were the clear victor by a 19-13 margin over the Ringgold Redskins on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-9 last Thursday.
Paul 'Tre' Lindsey made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Lindsey was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing Eight bases. while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Lindsey is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least three every time he's taken the field this season.
In other batting news, Cameron Whitehead was incredible, scoring a run and stealing Four bases. while going 3-for-4. Connor Tugwell was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances.
Bossier now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Ringgold, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bossier will take on Plain Dealing at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ringgold, they will square off against Glenbrook at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ringgold has given up an average of 14.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
