Baseball Recap: Selma Comes Up Short

Selma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-0 to the Demopolis Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 20-2 loss on Friday.

Selma's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Demopolis, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

Coming up, Selma will challenge Southside at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Southside has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Demopolis, they will head out to challenge Montevallo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
