Central turns things around after tough road loss

Recap: Central vs. South Mountain
There's no place like home for Central, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past South Mountain 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Central also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Benjamin Bustamante and
Ismail Foza, who scored.
Central has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for South Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will take on Sierra Linda at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Mountain, they will head out on the road to face off against Higley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Higley is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
