Recap: Rhodes Rams vs. John Marshall Lawyers
The Rhodes Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 59-43 to John Marshall. Rhodes lost against John Marshall in their previous head to head back in December of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 53-6 score last time.
Rhodes lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nikyia Davis, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniya King, who scored 14 points.
Rhodes' defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-4. As for John Marshall, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-4.
Rhodes will square off against John Hay at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. John Hay will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. As for John Marshall, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Garrett Morgan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
