Columbia Central barely beat Warren County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions blew past the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers 11-1 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Molly Underwood was incredible, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in March. Gabby Bolton was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Columbia Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Warren County only posted an OBP of .300.

Columbia Central's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-7. As for Warren County, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia Central will square off against Shelbyville Central at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions are facing the Golden Eagles at the right time seeing as the Golden Eagles are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Warren County, they will challenge Spring Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14 runs per game on average), something the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
