Basketball Recap: Woodlawn Comes Up Short

Woodlawn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 57-24 loss at the hands of the Towson Generals. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 63-43 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Woodlawn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Towson, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Woodlawn will head out on the road to challenge Rosedale Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Towson, they will take on Eastern Tech on Monday. Towson's defense has only allowed 26.2 points per game this season, so Eastern Tech's offense will have their work cut out for them.
