Football Recap: Wilson Area Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Wilson Area's offense. They were dealt a 35-0 defeat at the hands of the Palmerton Blue Bombers on Friday. The game marked the first time this season in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Jaxson Tadayesky threw for 93 yards on eight of 13 attempts. Nick Louis Jeune was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards. On the ground, J'Son Johnson rushed for 99 yards.

Wilson Area's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Palmerton, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wilson Area will take on rival Northern Lehigh at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Palmerton is set to square off against their familiar foe Palisades at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
