Recap: Sports Leadership & Management Cobras vs. Avant Garde Academy Sharks
The Sports Leadership & Management Cobras can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They managed a 60-56 win over Avant Garde Academy. The win was just what Sports Leadership & Management needed coming off of a 60-18 loss in their prior match.
Avant Garde Academy's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being SAHMAJ ALCIME, who scored 17 points. The contest was ALCIME's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of MICAEL HAZAN, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds.
Sports Leadership & Management's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 1-4. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.3 points per game. As for Avant Garde Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Sports Leadership & Management will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Dreyfoos School of the Arts at 6:00 p.m. on December 4th. As for Avant Garde Academy, they will be playing at home against Basilica at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
