Softball Recap: Agricultural Science Comes Up Short

Agricultural Science fell victim to Juarez and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. It was the first time this season that the Cyclones let down their fans at home.

This is the second loss in a row for Agricultural Science and nudges their season record down to 4-4. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Juarez, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Agricultural Science will square off against rival Goode STEM Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Juarez is set to challenge their familiar foe South Shore International at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
