Excel Christian can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They beat the Mineral County Serpents by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 17-2. The victory was nothing new for Excel Christian as they're now sitting on six straight.
Parker Kleszyk made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Kleszyk was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, Samuel Mills was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jackson Barlow, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
On Mineral County's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aadan Shalosky, who went 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two RBI.
Excel Christian pushed their record up to 8-6 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Mineral County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
