Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Rainier Lapidus stepped things up a notch to give Chaparral the 'W'. Lapidus posted eight points and four boards, good enough to set a new career-high in rebounds in the process. We rated that as her best effort of the season, easily topping her previous best, set on December 19th, 2024, when she earned two points (Gamescore: 9.5 vs. 3.6).

Looking ahead, Lapidus and Chaparral will take on Castle View at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chaparral is 8-2 against Castle View going back to January of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
