Basketball Recap: Bolton Takes a Loss

Bolton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the East Windsor Panthers 54-22. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

East Windsor's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Izzy Bancroft, who went 5 of 8 en route to 12 points. Those 12 points gave Bancroft a new career-high. Kyelah Smith was another key player, putting up 13 points along with six boards and five assists.

Bolton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for East Windsor, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Bolton has already played their next matchup (against East Windsor/Bloomfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. East Windsor has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Parish Hill.
