It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Columbia had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Marquette Catholic Explorers. Considering Columbia have won 15 contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Marquette Catholic from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

The victory (which was Columbia's third in a row) raised their record to 20-5-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Marquette Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.

Looking ahead, Columbia will challenge Father McGivney Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Marquette Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
