Volleyball Recap: Beacon of Hope Christian Falls to Cedar Creek Christian in First Game of Season

Beacon of Hope Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Cedar Creek Christian Saints on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 24-26, 25-12, 25-15.

Beacon of Hope Christian's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Carter, who had five aces. Edi Rivers was another key player, getting five aces.

Cedar Creek Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Coming up, Beacon of Hope Christian will take on Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cedar Creek Christian, they will challenge First Coast Christian at 7:30 p.m. on the 11th.
