The Hill City Ringnecks will head out to  face off against the Thomas More Prep-Marian Monarchs  at 4:30  p.m. Hill City has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
Hill City is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They took  a  41-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Plainville on Tuesday.
 Despite the  defeat, Hill City had strong showings from  Rylie Minium, who  posted 23 points and eight  rebounds, and  Sada Nelson, who  scored six  points. That was a full 69.7% of Hill City's points, marking the third time in a row she's   put up  more than a third of the team's points.
 Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Thomas More Prep-Marian, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  back in December of 2024. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Ellis 66-33. The  matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Monarchs had established  a  28 point advantage.
 Hill City's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Thomas More Prep-Marian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
 Hill City took a serious blow against Thomas More Prep-Marian  when the teams last played  back in December of 2024, falling  54-21. That  game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Hill City was down  33-13.
