Baseball Game Preview: Capuchino Mustangs vs. Palo Alto Vikings

The Capuchino Mustangs will square off against the Palo Alto Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Palo Alto took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Capuchino, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Capuchino turned things around against King's Academy on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Knights 4-2.

Declan Mendel spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Palo Alto's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Capuchino, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
