Soccer Recap: Arlington Heights Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Arlington Heights can now relate to. They fell just short of the Joshua Owls by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The shutout was out of character for Arlington Heights seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in January.

Arlington Heights' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-10. As for Joshua, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-7-3.

Arlington Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Joshua, they will square off against Chisholm Trail at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chisholm Trail's last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
